The summer break has officially begun. Where did the year go? I could swear school just got started. This year seems to have been even more of a blur than past years.
I recently came across some old journals that I had put away. They go back nearly twenty years. It has been a very dark and chaotic painting with many blessings scattered throughout. God has been faithful, even when I have not. God has never left me, but at times has carried me. I will let Him. Depression has been an ongoing struggle through the years. This is something I don't like admitting a lot.

You are brave for posting this. People's inner struggles are difficult for them to share. Depression runs in my family, and I have not completely escaped. But you're right, God is faithful which is especially evident when you look back as you have been doing in your journals.
